Easter Gift Tags

Hey there crafty friends!

Hope you all are doing well and practicing your social distancing. To make the best of this time at home, I’ve been spending a lot of time in my craft room making projects. I’ve gotten several projects completed and I’m now sharing my designs with all of you.

Today I am showcasing these cute Easter tags using the adorable Spellbinder’s die, “Truckin’ Through the Seasons.” I’ve showcased this die once before with some cards I made several months back. Now today, this little guy is making a second debut on my blog with my Easter themed gift tags.

I love the versatility of this die. This little truck is perfect for just about any holiday and occasion. Although the die set does not come with accessories for Easter, you can still create this theme using dies from your stash. I’m using the mini carrots from the Lawn Fawn Garden Stitched Border die to create the Easter theme. The sentiment comes from the Some Bunny stamp set by Simon Says Stamp and the entire truck image is popped up on foam tape and placed onto of my favorite Stitched Scalloped Tag from Papertrey Ink.

I simply adore how these tags turned out. Here’s the perfect Easter tag to tie onto a bag of treats and gift to a friend or family member.

Thank you all for joining me today. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project share. Until next time… Happy Crafting!

Spellbinders: Enjoy the Ride Small Die of the Month Club

0

Hello Everyone,

Recently I joined Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club and purchased the Enjoy the Ride die set that debuted May 2019. This 20 piece die template features a fun little scooter, balloons and the sentiments Ciao and Enjoy the Ride.

With this May kit, I created two adorable clean and simply cards using the scooter, balloons and few stamps from my stash.

For my first card, I die cut the scooter and balloons from some light pink and fuchsia card stock. The wheels were die cut from black, white and silver mirrored cardstock that I purchased from my local scrapbook store.

The flowers are cut with the a Simon Says Stamp Blooming Wave die. The background was dry embossed with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, and layered on top of an A2 top folding card base. The banner sentiment “You Deserve It” comes from the Right At Home stamp set, Scripty Greetings that was stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts white fine detail embossing powder. I used some gold thread to make the balloon strings. Coming soon, you will see this same card featured on Amy Rysavy’s Happy Mail haul video for June 2019.

For my second card, I die cut the scooter from navy blue and aqua colored cardstock I picked up from Michaels. The balloons were cut with shades of blue and mint green cardstock. The congrats sentiment comes form the MFT Congrats dienamics set, which was gut from a piece of gold matte cardstock purchased from my local scrapbook store. The banner sentiment comes from the Your Next Samp set, What Not Sentiments. I dry embossed the background with a diagonal striped embossing folder from Darice and some silver confetti stars were sprinkled across the card for some added embellishments.

If you were considering joining the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club, I strongly suggest your take the plunge. For only $12.50 plus shipping, each month you will receive a fresh new set of dies to create all sorts of paper craft projects. This is an incredible value for such a low price. Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club is a subscription program, you can join or cancel anytime. There’s no yearly commitment and you can also skip a month if you don’t like specific designs.

Thank you very much for joining me today. I hope you have been inspired. If you like my creations, be sure to subscribe to my blog and connect with me on Pinterest, Instagram and Youtube. Until next time.

Spellbinders: Truckin’ Through The Seasons & So Many Sentiments Dies

0

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am sharing with you a few cards using Spellbinders NEW So Many Sentiments dies and the popular Trucking’ Through the Seasons Large Die of the Month set. The Trucking’ Through The Seasons die first debuted in October 2018 as part of the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club.

By popular request, Spellbinders has re-released the set along with their release of the new So Many Sentiments die set. If you missed out last October, here is your chance to pick up both sets of dies while supplies last.

The So Many Sentiments die set is a sixteen piece set of different greetings that can be placed onto the tailgate of the truck. Together, these two die sets provide an endless variety of all occasion cards you can create.

For my cards today, I filled each of the trucks with the coordinating gift box dies from the Truck set. Then used the For You, Mr & Mrs, and I love you sentiment dies from the So Many Sentiment sets.

The body of the truck for the wedding card was die cut from white shimmer cardstock and the bumper and mirrors were cut from silver mirrored cardstock I purchased from my local scrapbook store.

The Best Wishes layered sentiment comes from the Queen & Co Sentiment Stackers 2 die set which I cut with black and white cardstock from Michaels. I added some red heart die cuts from my stash along with a few gemstone embellishments. The background was embossed with the Fun Stampers Journey Beach Towel embossing folder.

The love card was die cut from pink, red and white cardstock from my stash. The bumper and mirrors were cut from matte gold cardstock from my local scrapbook store.

The background was embossed with the Tailored Expressions Swiss Heart embossing folder. The sentiment comes from the MFT stamp set Sweet Nothings which was heat embossed with Hero Arts fine detailed white embossing powder and die cut with the MFT Fishtail Flag dienamics.

My last card is masculine themed, where I used cardstock from Michaels and die cut the background with my Queen & Co Foundations 2 diagonal dies. I placed the truck on top of a piece of vellum cardstock that was die cut with the large circle die from the Queen &Co Foundations 1 die set.

I think all of these cards turned out so cute, and I hope you do to! Thanks for stopping by, until next time.
