Hello Everyone,

Today I am over on the Popystamps blog showcasing another card sample and a chance to win an amazing die set from the Poppystamps Spring Blog Blitz. Today’s giveaway features the new Grand Watering Can die from our Spring release. This die is great for spring themed cards and surely a die set you will want to add to your collection.

To get started, you will need to die cut the Grand Watering Can from a piece of patterned paper. I am using a sheet of 6×6 purple plaid paper from the new Memory Box Springtime Bouquet paper pad. Next, die cut one set of leaves and 2 sets of flower petals from the new Floral Clusters die set. I used card stock scraps from my stash in green to create the leaves and yellow and pink card stock for the flowers.

Now adhere the flower petals onto the leaves with some liquid adhesive. Add a dab of  glitter glue to the flower centers for some added sparkle and shine. I used the new Memory Box glitter glue in Berry Mist and Lemon Drop.

Next I adhered the flowers and leaves to the top of my watering can with some liquid adhesive. Check out all the detail and dimension from these flowers. Aren’t these flowers adorable?

The background for my card was created from a piece of 6×6 striped patterned paper from the Memory Box Springtime Bouquet paper collection using my favorite double stitch rectangle frame die set. After cutting the frame, I then adhered the frame and the coordinating center piece back together on to my A2 size card base using some liquid adhesive.

Next I created a yellow and white scalloped layer for my watering can and flowers. To create this layer, I die cut the scallop frame from a piece of yellow card stock using the Double Stitch Scallop Rectangle Frame Die. Then I adhered the frame to a 4.25 x 2.75 piece of white card stock with some liquid adhesive. Next I added the Watering Can to the center of the two-toned scallop frame with some foam adhesive. I then adhere the scallop frame with the watering can to my patterned striped card based with some additional foam adhesive.

To finish off the card, I die cut one of the labels from the new Colwell Label set from a piece of white card stock. Next, I stamped the sentiment Best Wishes from the new Greetings Basics stamp set with some Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I adhered the sentiment label to the center of the watering can with some foam adhesive.

This card is truly adorable and I had so much fun creating it.  If you would like a chance to win the New Grand Watering Can die, simply play along with our Spring Release Blog Blitz.

Easter Gift Tags

Hey there crafty friends!

Hope you all are doing well and practicing your social distancing. To make the best of this time at home, I’ve been spending a lot of time in my craft room making projects. I’ve gotten several projects completed and I’m now sharing my designs with all of you.

Today I am showcasing these cute Easter tags using the adorable Spellbinder’s die, “Truckin’ Through the Seasons.” I’ve showcased this die once before with some cards I made several months back. Now today, this little guy is making a second debut on my blog with my Easter themed gift tags.

I love the versatility of this die. This little truck is perfect for just about any holiday and occasion. Although the die set does not come with accessories for Easter, you can still create this theme using dies from your stash. I’m using the mini carrots from the Lawn Fawn Garden Stitched Border die to create the Easter theme. The sentiment comes from the Some Bunny stamp set by Simon Says Stamp and the entire truck image is popped up on foam tape and placed onto of my favorite Stitched Scalloped Tag from Papertrey Ink.

I simply adore how these tags turned out. Here’s the perfect Easter tag to tie onto a bag of treats and gift to a friend or family member.

Thank you all for joining me today. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project share. Until next time… Happy Crafting!
